Alongside our in-person home survey (where one of our team visits your property), you also have the option to share a video tour of your home so we can prepare an accurate quotation.

The benefit of this approach is flexibility—you can record and send the video at a time that suits you. It’s also ideal if you’re arranging a last-minute move and need a quick quote.

If you’d like to send us a video of your property for a quotation, simply follow these steps:

1. Open cupboards and wardrobes
Please open all cupboards and wardrobes before filming so we can clearly see the contents. This helps us determine the number of boxes and wardrobe cartons required.

2. Start outside your property
Begin by showing the exterior of your home, including the access route and available parking.

3. Walk through your property
Take us through each room, ensuring you capture all furniture and storage areas.

Tips:

• Stand at the doorway and film a slow 360° view of each room.

• Record one continuous video rather than stopping and starting—this allows us to see stairs and hallways clearly.

• Don’t forget lofts, cupboards, and hidden spaces (it’s best to open them before filming).

• Keep videos under 6 minutes where possible (send multiple videos if needed).

4. External spaces
Show us the contents of your garden, shed, garage, or any outbuildings if applicable.
